Frequently asked questions
What is the Obasan Organic Wool Pillow and who is it best for?
The Obasan Organic Wool Pillow is a versatile, fully organic wool pillow with a two-sided cover (silky organic cotton on one side and cotton jersey on the other) and adjustable loft. It suits stomach and side sleepers who want firm, lasting support and a temperature-friendly option.
What is the pillow made of, and what does that mean for daily use?
It uses 100% organic wool knops for the fill, with a silk‑like cotton cover on one side and a cotton jersey on the other. In daily use this means durable loft, natural temperature regulation, and a breathable surface that can be adjusted by adding or removing wool.
How do I adjust the loft without making a mess?
You can unzip the core to add or remove wool to customize the loft. It’s easiest to perform adjustments over a sink or outdoors to keep the filling contained.
How should I care for this pillow to keep it fresh?
Cover it with a pillowcase and air it seasonally. Odors can be refreshed with baking soda; avoid washing the wool filling itself and ensure the cover is kept clean.
What makes this pillow stand out from typical wool pillows?
Its two-sided cover offers a cool or warm option by flipping, and the loft is fully adjustable via an accessible zipper, allowing lasting support tailored to your sleeping position.
Is this pillow suitable for travel or smaller sleep spaces?
The pillow provides firm, supportive loft with adjustable filling, which can be beneficial for various sleeping setups, though the filled wool may require more space compared to compact down pillows.
This completely organic wool pillow invites you to drift off with a versatile design that adapts to your sleeping temperature. One side is covered in silky organic cotton, while the other features soft cotton jersey, so you can flip the pillow to stay cool or warm as needed. The 100% organic wool knops fill provides lasting loft and firm support, making it a strong choice for stomach and side sleepers seeking reliable, supportive comfort.
Fully adjustable, you can customize the loft by unzipping the core and adding or removing wool. Please note that handling the filling can be a bit messy, so consider performing adjustments over a sink or outdoors. Care is simple: cover with a pillowcase, air out seasonally, and refresh odors with baking soda. The pillow comes in standard, queen, and king sizes, accompanied by a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.
